Death Valley 2008

This year five of us rode to Death Valley. There was Roger and me plus new Death Valley riders Ron Foltz on his new BMW K1200S, Jay Hirsh on his Harley Classic and Mike Farrar on his new Honda Gold Wing. Under the constant threat of rain, but with only one small shower, we got to Laughlin the first night. We had a group dinner with other SEAT members.

The next afternoon we made it to Death Valley . We stayed the night in Pahrump Nevada. That night the weather report looked real bad so we decided to come home on Saturday instead of Sunday. The weather on Sunday confirmed that that was a good decision. Sorry we missed the door prizes and SEAT stew.

I have added a second page of photos taken by Harb Lill. Harb, Dave Delie, Stan Thibaut and Mike Procter rode together. They came home on Sunday in the rain.

Badwater. The lowest spot in the USA. Jay liked it here. His Harley had all of it's 65 horsepower at this low elevation.
